UDOT PUBLIC MEETING

January 28th

5:30 -8:30 PM (open house starts @ 5:30; hearing follows)

Wasatch High School Library, Heber City

UDOT has released its preferred option for the Heber Valley bypass—and unfortunately, it is Option B, a route that cuts straight through the middle of the North and South Fields.

There are many reasons to oppose this option, and we’ll be sharing them in the coming days. Most importantly, Option B does not accomplish what a bypass is supposed to do. It will not meaningfully relieve traffic on Main Street and instead opens the door to future development that threatens the character of our valley and threatens our drinking water aquifers.

This is NOT a done deal. Public input matters—and showing up in person is one of the most powerful ways to make our voices heard.
